Been busy lately as I'm serving the army. It has been 1 year 8 months+ and I'll say it is a pretty nice experience. Able to get to know my platoon mates and be a part of the National Day Parade, it is not bad at all. But of course the daily routine is what everyone hates and we all have to just deal with it
. By the mid of this year, start of June, I'll ORD (release from full-time army service). AWESOME
Right now I'm working for Cross-Fate
as Texturing Artist for their 3D models. Working at own time own target speed.
Check out the things I've made: Altaira Golden Star
Anyone else needing me as freelance is welcome (as long as you pay). But take note that for now, I can't deal with deadlines and such. I'll will work at my own pace during my free time. So I'm won't accept work with tight schedules.
And also, I am now applying for DIGIPEN, SIT
in Bachelor of Art in Game Design (BAGD)
. I guess it is about time to start studying again as the army service will end by June. And the timing is just right since the school term starts at August/September (if I get the placing for this year). Been considering to work or study last year, and it seems that further education makes larger impact on future career and salary, so I end up choosing to go for a university. I have always wanted to make my own game with my art skills, that is why I've decided to take on BAGD instead of BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Animation). And I hope taking on that degree will help improve my ideas and creativity along the way.
Wish me luck getting a placing
So, watchers around here, I'm still around but just working on new artwork at extreme slow pace. I bet it will only get worst once my university starts. But I'll try my best to work on something, big or small, making sure there is new content uploaded.
